Pokemon Battle Ruleset.
Standard battles will be single, 6v6 battles.
Battles will be played in rounds, best 3 out of 5.
The loser of a round may sub out up to 3 Pokemon. The winner may sub out 1 Pokemon.
Players are allowed to pull from a pool of 12 Pokemon per battle, basically making battles 12 v 12.
All Pokemon with a BST of 600 or less may participate. Complex bans will be listed below.
Pokemon with a BST higher than 600, that are permitted to participate, will be listed below.
Clauses
Evasion Clause: Moves that increase evasion are banned.
Sleep Clause: You may only put an enemy Pokemon to sleep one time per round. If that enemy Pokemon wakes up, or faints you may NOT put another Pokemon to sleep for the remainder of the round. This does not include putting yourself to sleep, or the effect spore ability.
Hazard Clause: No entry hazards are permitted unless agreed upon before the battle. If there is a disagreement, flip a coin, the loser then can make team adjustments if necessary.
Item Clause: No two Pokemon in your pool of 12 can hold the same item. This includes Mega Stones.
Species Clause: You may not use two of the same Pokemon in your pool of 12.
OHKO Clause: One Hit Knock Out moves are not permitted.
Freeze Clause: Haha, you're frozen.
Complex Bans
Darkrai may not have a sleep inducing move in his moveset.
Deoxys may only battle in it's speed form.
