>>40600149The plot not being a major concern doesn't fucking mean the legendaries don't have mythos related purposes in their design. In like one or two interviews earlier they talked about how when they design Pokemon they take into account why they have to look the way they do and how those traits fit into the environment they live in. For legendaries the environment is their fucking mythos because they are essentially gods.
