Soul is pretty vague, but I could see it removing a lot of Psychic typings the way Fairy did to Normal.

Or instead of 'Typeless' you could make Bird Type actually exist, and allow the (now minuscule in number if you did that) Flying type to become a lot more diverse and interesting. Hell, maybe Picrel being a Flying-Type master wouldn't be retarded if that happened.
