>>53609970>>53610024>>53609907>Kirby's Epic YarnThis argument is piss-poor because Pokemon and Kirby are fundamentally different games mechanically.
Every stage and boss in Epic Yarn has a unique mechanic that you have to engage with to beat. Sometimes failing will force you to restart the level from the beginning to properly complete a stage, which you have to do in order to unlock extra levels.
You can't go up to a EY boss and spam attack like in a RPG like Pokemon where you instakill every enemy you face. Against Meta Knight for example, you have to grab one of his sword slashes, roll it into a ball, and then wait for the right moment to throw it at him while dodging his attacks (but if you get it wrong, he'll simply cut through your ball and you'll have to do it all over again).
In other words, despite technically not being able to die in Epic Yarn, it's still
1. more difficult than a nu-Pokemon game AND
2. more complicated to 100% than a nu-Pokemon game.
A BETTER comparison would be something like STAR ALLIES, which you COULD beat by finding one of the broken ability combinations and spamming the attack button for every boss. It just happens to be one of the most disliked Kirby games in recent memory.
