Assuming they'd get infinite time? I'd much rather get a GF remake with a meticulously recreated 3D Sinnoh in the SwSh style with no Wild Areas, even if certain areas of the game like the rematches and story additions would have been worse.
The thing is the game would be too big for that to be feasible in the timeframe they had, SuMo and SwSh have piss poor map design precisely because of how graphically intensive and time consuming they are to make, so faithfully recreating Sinnoh would have taken at least 4-5 years.
