For the most part people are more friendly and inviting than on other boards. Pokemon is a pretty innocent subject with a very diverse audience and it's rare to see people get truly heated up over it. Unlike /co/ in recent times, it's not flooded and shitposted constantly by newfags who've migrated from tumblr and/or reddit (there's still a lot of shitposting here, though). The giveaway threads are also really nice.
