>>53768238We did have pretty similar experiences! I admit, I was one of the “I was sad she left” fools, and that’s why I thought USUMm was ok, until I thought about it and that it basically counts in her growth in SuMo to work. I think long distance can be hard, but worth it. I would definitely commit to her if she would me, and I’m confident in our bond since we travelled Alola. The way I see it, if things last through distance you’ll be stronger for it. I can understand that, though, as that was my greatest fear in graduation is growing apart. Luckily I went to a local college and my friends were all nearby, but that’s something kids need to prepare for. Plus, we live in current year, there’s phones, boats, and planes!
How long is your story gonna be? I hope you post it here, I’d be happy to give it a read!
>>53768247I warmed up to her. It’s easy to write her off as a brat because she lives without her mom, but Lillie’s mom doesn’t treat her like she’s grown up(Pokémon grown up), and just hand waives away Lillie’s feelings. Plus, she had PTSD from childhood UB trauma and almost being tentacled and had a missing father and busy mother who didn’t try to do anything other than tell Lillie her feelings were irrational. She is quite different, though, in a great many ways. I consider them different adaptations. Multiverse and such. Save files are different timelines and anime/games/manga are separate universes with similar rules.
