>>48935158It's done. Despite everything the game threw at me, I managed to beat it. Not without a great cost though
>Sidney, Phoebe, and Glacia go down to Roosevelt, Nelson, and Roosevelt again with no problems whatsoever. About as clean as you can get>Start the Drake fight>Starts perfectly, with Nelson taking out Shelgon and Altaria after getting the Rain up with 2 Ice Beams a piece>Out comes Kingdra>After a bit of a back and forth with it D-dancing and me wittling it and it healing, manage to get it to a sliver>About to finish it off when I misclick Rain Dance after it Body Slams me to half>Forced to go to Magellan to try and salvage the situation, and manage to finish it off with a Return but not before being hit into the red by a boosted Body Slam>Out comes Salamence, and realizing I can't sack Magellan, try going to Rickenback to buy me a turn to heal up Nelson (Since I was allowed to use a Full Restore as per my items rule)>It gets finished off in 2 Rock Slides.>Go to Roosevelt to try and hit a Rock Tomb so I don't have to risk getting crit with Nelson to get Rain back up and outspeed it>It somehow misses 2 Rock Tombs in a row and gets taken out in 2 Dragon Claws and a Crunch >Finally get Nelson back in>Mence crits D-claw, I live, get Rain back up (should've calc'd that but hindsight), and finish both it and Flygon off with Ice BeamsAt least the Champion went flawlessly, with Harris killing his Wailord and Gyarados and inviting in Whiscash, which I used as setup bait for Gyarados to get to +4 and sweep everything with Return
All in all, I'm happy I managed to do it, I'm just sad that I could've done it deathless but didn't, all because of a misclick. I knew that Drake's Kingdra would pose an issue but at the end of the day it c ame down to a literal misclick that cost me two great mons.
Still, I can't be too upset. At the end of the day, all that grinding and planning paid off and I pulled it off.
