Like Wyoming before her, Moira has grown to be an MVP among the team, even more so after she evolved and I remembered that at some point I found the TM for Dig. Busted the ghosts, got the badge.
Made my way out west, made a few more captures along the routes and around Olivine City. Climbed the tower, met with Jasmine, and headed out for Cianwood to get medicine/take on the gym. Again I planned for Moira to take most of the job, being she had the highest defense on the team. Most of the fighters leading up to the big boss went fine. Against Chuck she was able to just out-speed Primeape and take him down in two hits. Then against Poliwrath, I swapped in Chromie. Though she got rocked by Surf, she was able to get off several Thundershocks amidst numerous missed Dynamic Punches. Then one made its mark.
With Chromie down, I took a gamble and sent Moira back in to clean up. Got another badge, though at a cost. I'm genuinely bummed, I wanted to take her with me to the League and beyond.
