So I hatched the "mysterious" Egg and got Eggsy, who's pretty strong for a literal baby with an eggshell diaper. Made short work of all the poison types around route 32. Joule was my encounter for the route and oh baby, am I happy.
No Ruins encounter bacause all I found were Geodude under the rocks, but I was lucky to get a Hard Stone for Rollan'. Union Cave was boringly easy, found a Zubat (shocker). Morrigan is boxed for now, but I love me some Crobat, so who knows...
Route 33 gave me a Spearow (ugh); should've waited for Headbutt, but what's done is done. Grinded the team up, ate some Rocket ass, then took to the gym. Rollan was the star here, squishing all the bugs with boosted rocks and shit; Ignis burned their carcasses for good measure. As I was leaving Azalea, rival Jackass got all up in my face, but Joule solo'd him, taking only one attack for 10 damage. For some reason his Croconaw used nothing but Scary Face, go figure. Now I'm ready to brave the Ilex Forest on my way to Goldenrod.
Oh, and I just remembered I don't have a Slowpoke Well encounter. Oops, time for a quick detour.
