10 years ago the Unova region began to heal itself from the side by side disasters Team Plasma caused.
Many Unovans differed in the way they envisioned their new future, many wanted insurance that something like team Plasma could never happen again. Others sought out guidance and understanding, the liberation for Pokemon still a debated subject even 10 years later.
The Minutemen took a different path. The time travelling group started off small... The founder and leader of the group goes by the name of Deleo.
Deleo is an older man with a mind greater than Alakazams. He travelled around the Unova region for decades aiding in Professor Juniper's research and even Fennels dream research.
Deleo’s ultimate invention was the creation of the time relay. A device in which a portal can be created to connect the present timeline to anywhere in the past. Deleo travelled around the world searching for the correct technology to create such a powerful machine. Years of searching and speaking with other professors got him nowhere, it was when he read about the tales of Celbi while researching with Professor Elm in the Johto region that Deleo’s dream truly took off.
Deleo created the time relay and the one time use batteries that came along with it and from there he began his plan to heal the Unova region.
Creating the Minutemen, a team of loyal followers dedicated to Deleo’s goal of creating a safer Unova by erasing the mistakes of the past.
But while erasing the past, the Minutemen are also tearing away at the present and future which the past forged.
Hiding from justice in the present timeline by hiding away in Castelia City 30 years in the past. Castelia City 30 years ago was reminiscent of 1920s New York City mixed with some steampunk vibes.
The Minutemen travel back in time to purposeful locations to disrupt events, steal lost objects from the past and bring them to the future, and ultimately stop team Plasma from ever forming.
