It's still no damn excuse that the artsyle is subpar. Yes, the animation is better in SM but not leaps and bounds like some people claim. You can believe that nonsense of "its easier to animate" bs for why the art style took a dramatic shift south but it's really TVTokyo, etc. they make their animators do multiple series at a time. That's probably the reason they're cutting corners to make their deadlines.

(A little of topic)Pokemon should be able to generate enough money to have their own division in TVTokyo to have dedicated staffers to do only their shows (I would do that)

This is merely for the casual fans and to help the switch reach their additional 20 million copies. However, it can backfire and won't push people over the edge to go out an buy the switch.

I just don't see PLG being the game that'll help sell 20 million switch units. They aren't even going full pandering mode to get casual fans to go into their savings a buy a switch. If I was the creative director I would implement these features to get the casual fans and hardcore fans:

Well, /vp/ was flooded with the 2018fags vs 2019fags war.

While the Kyorgefags vs Groudonfags were in teh background during the fight and piled on at the end of May. When the Pokemon news happened both sides got what they wanted and it ended the war.

Now, /vp/ is divided by PLG's main streaming & graphics (GF apologists) vs. hardcore fans of the game. So, /vp/ is fine.
