As usual, Brawly folds like a beach chair to Beautifly.
Why did they make it so that you can't get to the deeper floors of Granite Cave until you get a Bike? Awful.
Anyways, it was Zubat, so might as well not exist.
Picking Torchic makes Brendan into easy mode apparently. No Water moves at all, only Ground, so another free win courtesy of Amarillo.
And then, I made a critical error. I wanted to train up Turbinado at the Gym, and had to switch vs. the Meditite, which I know has Thunder Punch. I thought Amarillo could take it. I was wrong.
At the same time however, Oolong ended up evolving, splitting into two whole Pokemon, one which is probably going to end up being an immediate replacement for Amarillo, and the other one is dead.
The good kind of dead, however, as the yet unnamed Shedinja (Thanks, why can't I nickname this immediately?) proceeds to cheese all over Wattson.
>Wattson
Magnemite can't do anything except Paralysis, which almost forces a switch, after which Voltorb takes enough damage to be in heal range, and then being downed by Shadow Sneak.
Wattson brings back Magnemite, which gets walled by one whole Leppa Berry and dies.
Magneton can only try to confuse Shedinja, so Shadow Sneak is a safe option, and if confusion hits, switch to literally any Pokemon, wait for Supersonic to land, go back to Shedinja, Shadow Sneak more.
