For families with more than one kid, buying multiple copies of the same console seems pretty unreasonable.

Expecting a parent to buy two of the same home console is as unrealistic as expecting parents to buy a Wii U when they already have a Wii.
Non-gamers are dumb about this stuff, and it won't bode well for the future of Pokemon.
