Honourable mentions go to Gens 3 and 6, which are similar in quality but I feel they both drop the ball with their Fighting-types.
>worstGen 1. Charizard is fine but it's a little bland, while Venusuar is okay but it's a downgrade from Ivysaur, Blastoise, though, is an absolute abomination and probably the single worst design in the entire franchise.
