My dog had a heart attack and passed away. I was at university so I didn't get to say bye before she was buried. The worst part is I think I saw her having one the day before when I was home and didn't recognize what was happening so even though I told my parents/showed them a video out of concern, I should have lobbied to take her to the emergency vet more. Then a few months later I was getting back into Pokemon after a little while and saw my shiny Mawile I named after her, which was my first non-RE shiny. [/spoilers]
