The moveset it learns through level up can stay the same even if it conflicts with the other compatibility list, but its egg moves, TMs, and tutored moves vastly change.
For example: Any fire type can learn Flame Wheel; humanoid mons and those with the head & arms body type can all learn Mega Punch; and anything from the Monster egg group can learn Scary Face.
If an attack doesn't have a TM or can't be tutored, you could still pass it on through chain-breeding.
How would this affect the meta? I think it could open up a few niches for shitmons.
