I've spent the last few hours crying like a bitch and am finally ready to accept that I'm committed to this franchise. I'm tired of trying to convince myself I don't like the things Gamefreak puts out, tired of believing things aren't gonna get better, tired of not putting my money towards something I really enjoy, tired of pretending to be disappointed.
I will always treasure the memories Pokémon has given me and will gladly replay games from gens 1 to 8 from time to time, maybe try the occasional romhack, but as far as any upcoming products, I'm not done, I've tried over and over to ignite my hate but no matter what, the fact of the matter is that when I look at the new stuff I can no longer contain my excitement in any shape or form, it has mutated into something I would rather not pretend doesn't exist.
