XY will always be my favorite series, yet I will NEVER antagonize SM for trying to make up for the fucking stab in the chest that was the KL finals.
This pic at the end of the exhibition match, of Ash happily resting next to pikachu will always be my favorite. It has such a "happy ending" feeling, those "thanks for watching" kind of art the animators drop after finishing a series. Its just so beautiful, and it hits so much harder the more you've seen Ash lose and lose over the years, each time more and more painful than the previous one.
