This probably shouldn't qualify as nostalgia, but I was in middle school when HGSS came out and the Pokewalker was like a secret nerd badge. If anyone caught you wearing it or carrying it you either just became secret best friends or were gonna get bullied lol. I remember a kid on my soccer team who wore it during a game under his jersey, which fell out on the field and all the other kids on the team roasted him. I showed him my pokewalker after the game and we traded starter mons even though I didn't stop the bullies
