So not once did I participate in anything related to the "national dex." Not only did it not affect me, but I didn't even know the "national dex" was a thing until the chimpouts in the past 7 days.
The regional dex makes up 100% of the gameplay of the actual game.
What use does the national dex? I don't really know. Probably only useful for online play but that is cringe tier and if I'm going to play a game online, it's not gonna be fucking pokemon of all things.
