>>42831954What I learned to do was to just study other people's art instead. I have a bunch of people's art saved that I studied to try to understand.
Another piece of advice is don't look at the whole body of an object and try to draw it, look at individual segments and separate it into shapes. Like for example, diglett is just a bunch of circles. His brown body is an oval, and so is his nose, and eyes. I would also personally stay away from circle tools to draw. You need to learn how to draw a circle. The circle is your basis for everything. If you want to draw any type of head, you always gotta start out with a base circle and build off that. so personally what I do for circles is start by making a bunch of strokes in the form of a circle, then go back and erase it later.
Now that you know how to draw a circle, you need to realize that this is a 3 dimensional object, so what I do for that is draw a little curved line around the base head circle, and draw the face I want around that. This turns the circle into a sphere. Now try to imagine how the eyes would curve around the sphere, then try to jot it down. If you don't do this your drawings will look pretty flat and that's not exactly a great thing. If it doesn't look right to you, that's ok, just erase and try again.
I left a picture for you to have better understanding
Of course it's messy so like I said earlier just clean up with an eraser or you can redraw over it on another layer
Hope this helps you broski.
