I don't even know what the fuck he is doing wrong. I've seen his party, He has a Charizard, a Parasect, a Jolteon, a Lapras, and some trash. He was around 5 levels above Giovanni as a gym leader when he fought him. I don't actually know how it is possible to not accidentally beat Giovanni with a Lapras with surf on your team.
