So many of the Pokemon designs were strangely round, but not cartoonish enough to justify it.
So many had these weird colored bits that didn't seem like they would be part of a naturally occurring pattern.
There was also a lot of lifelessness in their eyes.
But that's just, like, my opinion, man.
