>>44890014I have pic related as well as some old Top Deck Magazines I can snag pics of later. I miss Pokemania a lot too. I was 4 years old in 1998. My mom thought I was too young for video games during the peak of it, but I collected the cards and watched the anime at the time. Pokemon was the most important thing in the world at the time I was forming my earliest memories, and I can't imagine my life without it. When I was 9 my mom got me a GBA with Sapphire for Christmas, so my love of the franchise shifted from the anime and cards to the video games for some years. My interest dwindled a bit during high school and gen 4-5, but it was certainly still there. The hype came flooding back for me throughout gen 6. I know people on this board like to shit on those games, but the bottom screen functionality and online play for X&Y are the best the franchise has ever had. People my age were playing Pokemon again. When GO came out it truly felt like Pokemania again. The Gen 7 games didn't hold my interest but I got to watch the new-and-improved anime with my weeb friends. And now that I'm 26 and have disposable income, I'm collecting cards seriously again.
