the difference between the ppgs and the starters tho is that the ppgs are basically just palette swaps with different hair styles, cause theyre a super sentai type deal. its cute that they match. the starters didn't fully commit to them being the same design and because it wasn't fully committed it looks half-asseed and lazy.
theres justttt enough differences in the silhouettes for it to look unintentional to a layman. like, im sure even the person calling me a schitzo in this thread can tell the powerpuff girls were designed as a set and are supposed to look like that. but he'd look at the gen 8 starters, and be able to tell that something is off about them and not be able to place what just because the differences are enough to not be obvious yknow?
