In terms of stats, they're exactly the same except that Slowbro has higher physical defense and Slowking has higher special defense.
And if you still can't decide, I'd say Slowking. Slowpoke evolves into Slowbro at level 37, but you can get Slowking way earlier. As soon as you get surf, as opposed to when you're already a higher level than the last gym leader.
