>>34481597One of my characters, Wilhelmine (or Mina), camps on her Torterra and travels around on it, with her whole team.
As an alchemist, she cultivates all kinds of plants and shrooms on its back to use in potions, but now her interests have gone predominantly towards shrooms. So the Torterra's grass and leaves have been completely replaced by mycelium, which also hangs over his face and other places. Since the shrooms become a "part" of the Torterra, they share its aura field and are resilient to damage, so you can lay on them and not squash them dead.

>>34501484Pokemon with properties that aid in cultivating ingredients, synthesizing chemicals, or other alchemy-related tasks. So far Wilhelmine's team includes:
Alolan Grimer trained to siphon, combine, seperate, and inject toxic compounds.
A shiny Morelull picked from her Torterra one day, helps the ones on his back grow healthy.
A Ribombee that became radioactive after ingesting an experimental drug found in one of Team Marrow's outposts
A Mudsdale that knows how to navigate treacherous swamps, where rare organic ingredients tend to be found
A Smeargle that was a quest reward, just a puppy but already wildly artsy. Haven't done much with him yet but I'm excited to.
And a Sharpedo she saved from a mind-controlling device. Because I honestly couldn't imagine anyone *not* wanting a shark jet-ski as a water mount.
She also caught a Dewpider and a Barboach, but I haven't done enough with them to come up with a purpose.
