>>35806332I agree with the sentiment that it's a bit boring that Ultra Beasts are "solved", i.e. we know basically everything about them from a story/lore perspective, mostly because it means that they will probably not be further explored in future games.
But something to remember is that UBs aren't the first extra-dimensional Pokemon we've heard of. Like the books in the Dimensional Research Lab talk about, there's a few other Pokemon that normally inhabit parallel/alternate universes. Even the Unown seem to inhabit some weird primordial pocket dimension. UBs just come from slightly more comparable universes to ours. While this does diminish their uniqueness a little, it makes the overall world more cohesive, which is a plus in my book.
