The only reason Typhlosion fell off in compshit is because Kantomons are coddled as fuck, while Typhlosion has been let to rot since Gen 4.
And Feraligatr is better than Gyarados in Gen 2 playthroughs due to having higher special attack and getting Ice Punch (having arms is one hell of a drug). If Reddidos wasn't shiny, no one would give two shits about it.
