>>42897852I'm angry at gf since i saw how little upgrades were in from DS era to 3DS era. I really expected way better graphics, a bigger map with many places to explore,various dungeons to find legendares(old and new) and story because gen 5 was a good attempt at one. So i haven't been buying or playing mainline since B2W2.
Took people almost a decade to notice Pokemon has been receiving a very low effort treatment on game department. Today i can safely rate GO higher than mainlines which is depressing. But i'm fine with people liking nu-pokemon as there is nothing wrong with that. The "i suddenly have standards" meme hit me 2 gens prior to this mess.
My escapism is in smogon and tabletop, since one is community driven and the other can be changed make sure everyone has a good time.
I'm not proud about being part of the 20% but most people who were disappointed left the franchise behind a long time ago. I just adapted because at the end of the day i love pokemon, just hate how gf has treated it like shit.
