Take this graphic of Day 2 decks at the recent Champions League, for example. Almost every other major deck had a postive conversion rate into Day 2, and Chien Pao had by far the worst conversion. It was more than double the % in Day 1 and the 3rd most played deck. And then it further converted poorly into Top 16 with 0 placements.
We could see it have a good day like any other deck, but everything so far tells us that it is not a good pick if you want to place well.
