Hey there, I'm the Flapple guy (
>>42064599). Hope you liked that one, because now we're making a moveset for the other apple Pokemon, Appletun.
>Appletun would be a super-heavy weight but slow character with very mediocre aerial movement in comparison to Flapple. Take advantage of your weight to survive and stay on the ground. Now let's get onto- ah right. It has a gimmick.
>If hit with a strong move (like Falcon's knee or any Smash attack), there's a chance one slice of pie can fall off Appletun. Anyone can eat it to recover %, but it'll have consequences: all attacks that involve use of the pie "shell" will deal less both damage and knockback the less slices you have, and your weight will also be reduced. With 8 slices in total, you will only recover all lost slices once KO'd similar to Wonderwing. Inspired by Appletun's Shield dex entry.Let's now actually dig into the moveset.
Pun intended. All neutrals, Smash attacks and aerials consist of headbutts, stomps, tail whips and pie slams, with the grab holding with the mouth. Sorry for the unspecifics this time, I just didn't feel like drawing these.
>Neutral B - Apple AcidAppletun shoots a pile of gravity-affected acid from its mouth in an upwards arc, just like in the original games. Being hit by it will cause the opponent be dealt extra damage when hit by the next Special (except Down-B), referencing the guaranteed Special Defense drop.
>Side B - Dragon PulseAppletun begins to charge briefly and then fires a dragon beam straight forward. The charge cannot be canceled, and the beam itself travels a bit farther than the Belmonts's Forward Smash and can be angled slightly upwards or downwards.
