I bought a lot of stuff from the store and a the card stall I went to had modern stuff (which was EX FireRed and LeafGreen onwards at the time I think) but I went to the other stall one day and bought a pack of Expedition. The border just seemed so weird to me and I assumed they were fakes. It didn't help that I pulled a reverse Mew and it made me think of all the fake shiny cards I'd seen online. Never went back to that stall. Wish I wasn't so retarded though.
