never played, don't care to.
>BD/SP
Had alot of QoL improvements since I'e played. It was gen 4, on a modern console. It was ok, until I played the other games in the gen. It reminded me why I quit playing in the first place.

Got it on sale last X mas time after playing SP. It was actually good. It felt like a new game...because it was a newer game. shocking, i know. The wild area/over world mons finally made it feel closer to the anime world. Raids are literally the best thing Pokemon has done in years. There is no reason to not have a PvE multiplayer mode from now on. Dynamax Adventures were especially fun. It was so good I bought the DLC. Yes, the dexcut is gay and my boi from Firered is still stuck in SP. But it seems like my nigga will be back in S/V with a new evo to boot. Even at that the game is actually fun to play.

It's what Pokemon should have been since the Wii U. Take it's systems. Flesh them out with main line mechanics, Abilites/held items/weather/terrain/you get the idea. It's the first game that has been almost fully willing to pull away from Gen 1 traditions in terms of how you actually play the game. This is a good thing. Even the Battle system. It's still turn based, it's basically the FFX system. Which is the best version of turn based. Imagine a game with that battle system with Doubles or even triples. The only negative thing I can say about the Battle system is there are so little trainer battles. Have it set in a modern region with routes/gyms/cities and it's a damn near perfect evolution to the franchise.
