It's description states that "Oddly, the last date marked on it was 50 years ago"
On the items official artwork, in the corner, it is labeled 1958.12.1,
which is almost exactly 50 years to the day the item was first distributed in, December 1st 2009
(The extra year was probably to account for Diamond and Pearl being delayed a year, which probably delayed Platinum a year as a result)
