>>53420914I freaked out when I learned there was a script for save file corruption which made it feel like something you should accept can happen. I always accepted that carts could fail but I thought they would just stop working or delete the save. I was about to buy a device to backup my saves but I realized that would take all joy I get from my carts being unadulterated and unique. I don't care if other people want to inject pokemon and duplicate their saves but that's just not for me. I accept that my carts may fail but I have so many that hopefully most, if not all, will survive. Their uniqueness and impermanence just makes them more precious to me.
