>>53581958This doesn't really apply to Pokemon I guess, but a friend of mine irl is just what you described. A yumejoshi who ruins things for everyone all the time by acting like a turbo autist. She also exclusively ships het pairings which wouldn't be a bad thing if she didn't have the most basic tastes and wasn't obviously projecting in the female characters of said pairings. She did have Steven as her husbando at some point because of ORAS and she spammed art of him on twitter but she was the most obnoxious with Final Fantasy 7. I just can't talk to her anymore about video games or fandom shit, it's just not fun at all, and she's so delayed that at 27yo she decided to date her ugly, uneducated manlet of a roommate who's 19yo and she still works retail despite graduating from university. She does act like a kid in a very general sense, not because she has a baby face and high voice, or because of her fashion style but because of how immature she is when handling all sorts of situations such as paying rent and bills, working, budgeting, having hobbies, having a social life and maintaining friendships, etc. I get the appeal of being a yumejoshi but she single-handedly made me dislike all of them by being a retard and thinking you're literally like Tifa in FF7 because you have the same hair color and you find Cloud cute.
