>>20287374Utility, mostly. I've had more success using No-Guard dynamic punch, as the confusion hax is godsend at times. But honestly, HA Golurk could do the exact same thing, and has better synergy at least in my case, because I rarely get ghost coverage. I suppose, in retrospect, Conkledurr is better in regards to priority moves, less frailty, and an amazing Mach Punch, but just going off of empirical evidence, I've had less of a tough time running sets with Machamp. For one, he's diverse. You know, he gets guts too, right? People have literally disconnected on me after they attempted to burn him (the orb was about to activate the next turn, ironically enough) and the realization dawned upon them that I was running guts instead of No Guard. I guess...I admit I'm clouded with bias by means of personal preference, really. I was the nerdy kid that sat around with his level one hundred Clefable spamming TM35 my first Pokémon game. I've always preferred the unpredictable element of surprise to brute, unimaginative, mundane force. So maybe it's just me, but in a competition of Machamp VS Conkledurr, I'm going to lean more towards the former in terms of badassery and flexibility.
But I will always prefer Hawlucha. Always.
