This is one 'made things easier' change I can welcome. Older gens gave you a chance by starting with pre-evolved shitmon and gradually getting harder, which let you grab some BP, even with an ingame team. SM ditched that, and just threw you in at the deep end. Fuck whoever decided that was a good idea. How the fuck am I supposed to prepare for the Tree, when I can't even get the BP for items?
