And I do agree about the wierd proportions bits, I have nothing to add there, but the personality restrictions, ehhhhh... You can definetly work around it, if you work a bit you can imagine a gentle and lazy Incineroar, a shy and easily spooked Cinderace, and (obviously) a NOT emo teen Raboot, it can even double as a character arc, the life with their trainer, them facing adversity, becoming braver, etc.
I have like 3 fanfics about Raboot so maybe it's all a sunken cost fallacy and I've been deluding myself that Raboot is a good pokemon, but after 3 years it's becoming almost completely unlikely.
