XY was her least active season with her writing two episodes. But boys...BOYS. when she found out that Yajima would just give you the fucking reigns do you know the first thing she wrote? the fucking Serena Ash cross dressing episode where Ash puts his head on Serena's chest, holds her hands, and Serena is at one of peaks of cuteness in general. Her older episodes were rather generic, but Amour...Amour awakened something in her as she would go on to use direction from amour in SM, the most notable being the Kukui and Burnett marriage episode.

That's the crux of why there will never be another Ash ship after Amour. Everyone in charge worked on XY, loved amour, and each contributed to it. And honestly, I can see why.
