OP here, thank you all for the responses - I understand now that social media is a mistake that will continue to crush the psyche of modern society, like a Snorlax sleeping on a Stunfisk. The empty and meaningless hole life leaves unfilled in every person must be addressed at a young age by a caregiver, less one devote themselves entirely to a hive mind. The timespace of which this is occurring in younger minds is becoming shorter and thus more dire, with greater consequences as the herd mentality takes our youth.
