Sup /tcg/ just came back from a city championship standard tournament, me and two other friends dropped out after a judge told one of them that she couldn't use her FA Junipers. She was carrying Sycamores in case a judge said she couldn't use them while going through the list during registration, nothing was said until the first match when her opponent said something. The judge offered her to switch her Junipers for energies (top kek) despite having Sycamores in hand. She had been told by her league organizer that it was ok to use them in Standard as long as she didn't use Sycamores as well.
Obviously there is nothing to do now, but I was wondering what your opinions are and if there are some certified judges in here what would you have done.
I find it really sad that the judge checked and signed her deck list before starting and when confronted by another player (who btw lost even though she couldn't use Juniper) he suddenly saved face by saying he didn't want to lose his opportunity to judge at worlds for this.
