I'm the 8th gym leader. I used to be a member of the elite 4 and people even thought I could've easily become champion if I wasn't so lazy. The reason i'm so lazy is because battling comes so easy to me that I never took it seriously. When you first reach my city i'm not at the gym but at the beach. Your character has to persuade me to come back to the gym to face you. For some reason you remind me of myself when I was younger except you have ambition and aren't throwing all of your potential away. This lights a fire in me and I decide to face you.
