How many of you guys play this game not for actual fun but as a substitute for not being very successful at climbing the dominance hierarchy that our societies presents? My guess is that 90% of men above, say level 33, do this. The rest 10% probably does it to numb themselves from their real life issues.
Your subconcious can't differentiate between the joys of leveling up in the game and getting a promotion in real life because the neurotransmitters and hormones which are released are the same for both instances.
The job of your consciousness is to reflect on the meaning what makes you happy. Now how much meaning does it have for you if you spend 12 months of the year pressing button on a phone for 6 hours a day? What are the consequences for your life if you do that?
