When is the last time Pokemon had something as soulful as the Budew show? Between this and stuff like seeing the kids who love random Pokemon like Kakuna and Ekans you can tell the designers just Get It. Actually getting use out of the cast of existing 1000+ strong Pokemon you have rather than having to rely on gimmicks, showing them in daily life to actually sell the reality of the world they’ve been trying to build rather than just tell us about it…it’s nice. Give Haruka the keys, man.
