Might as well point out how i feel about each Gen's Top 10
>Gen 1
I don't think its an immaculately designed Gen, but it's highs are some of the highest in the series. There's lots of classics that didn't make Top 10, which goes to show how strong those good designs were.

>Gen 2
Much more meh than i remember. I forgot how many babby pokemon were here. It genuinely feels like Gen 1 leftovers even if some of them are fantastic.

>Gen 3
As based as Gen 1, desu. Lots of fantastic designs here, though weirdly i didn;t find it hard to assemble the Top 10, so maybe overall less classics.

>Gen 4
One of the few things i love about /vp/ is the huge love i see for Porygon-Z here and nowhere else. Overall Gen 4 was... controversial and with some of my least favorite designs. But this Top 10 is full of pokemon i love, so...

>Gen 5
Same as with Gen 4, a controversial gen, but with some Great standouts. Strangely enough i found myself leaning towards the cuter pokemon here because the "cool ones" didn;t do much for me.
8/10
>Gen 6
I didn't expect to struggle while filling my Top 10 for this gen, but it was actually because i actually love so many more of these pokemon than i originally remembered. Clawitzer, Dragalge and Pumpkaboo fought tooth and nail for a spot here and i feel like they deserved it, and i only really hate Goodra and Aromatisse alongside finding Pyroar pretty awful. If i liked the games as much as i liked the dex, it'd probably be my favorite gen. Shame.

>Gen 7
Opposite of Gen 6. Loved the games, but in retrospect, i couldn't find enough pokemon to fill the Top 10. The Ultra Beasts were a welcome experiment, but the actual region designs were a bit iffy.

>Gen 8
Didn't play, lol. But the Dex was a huge step up despite also having a lot of shit designs. Corviknoght and Falinks are some of my Top favorites and the rest are no slouch either.
