>>40126164Well there's the very real chance that the show is still continuing with Ash (basically confirmed already) & the only way an Ash ship gets confirmed is if it's the finale.
We're also not so far removed from Serena's last appearance yet that she couldn't still show up & ruined everything. Misty is paired up with Brock so much lately (in anime, Masters, & pic related) that one starts to wonder if Gymshipping is more likely to be canon at this point.
They better at least have Misty & Brock show up for a post-league celebration episode if nothing else.
