There are a good chunk of decent designs in the mix, though. I love Syphoon a lot and Flearoe, the fire starter, is pretty great even though it's got a few too many random markings on its fur.
But yeah, a lot of it feels kind of uninspired. Stat-wise and ability/movepool too, but not nearly as bad as Sage in that regard.
